ABOUT THE ROLE: As an interaction designer at Codelicious, you will focus on designing and improving internal tools for the Codelicious team. You will use human-centered design principles to develop useful and impactful experiences for users. You will collaborate within the Product & Technology team to create intuitive user experiences while ensuring timelines and project commitments are met.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Investigate and document users tasks, develop interaction pathways for each task and create journey maps based on those pathways
Work with cross-departmental stakeholders to identify their challenges with internal processes and how it affects their goals
Create wireframes, prototypes and other interaction design deliverables for application screens
Collaborate with the development team to provide assets and guidance for implementing your designs
Understand the Codelicious product and customer base in order to help oversee prioritization of backlog features
Communicate with leadership on project statuses and roadblocks
WHAT YOU HAVE:
Demonstrated experience with human-centered design, including a portfolio that showcases past projects.
Experience building prototypes, preferably with Figma or Invision
Ability to create clarity from ambiguity by deeply understanding your users and their needs
Natural storytelling ability -- you can break down complex ideas into easy-to-digest and relatable stories
Growth mindset and the desire to always be learning
Proficiency with collaboration tools such as the Google Suite, Trello, and Slack
