Who are we looking for?
A marketing leader-- someone who is passionate about all aspects of marketing and is revenue and product focused to help build the world’s best hobby education platform. You are detail-orientated, self-motivated, and like to move fast-- you’ll bring deep experience and understanding on how to design, execute and optimize partnerships, build effective funnels, manage marketing-stacks, and pursue strong ROI, in addition to forecasting, reporting, testing, and analyzing all aspects related to our funnels in the pursuit to optimize them to perform at their absolute highest standard. You’ll be asked to demonstrate leadership that inspires our marketing team to be its most effective and efficient, strategic and creative thinking that drives innovation and pushes our limits, and executional excellence that helps to continue us down the path of strong growth. What You’ll Do:
Lead, develop and own product positioning, messaging and value propositions that differentiate Combined Curiosity and its brands in the marketplace Plan, optimize, and build out effective marketing campaigns that drive commerce and align to customer experience and brand strategies Understand market trends, customer needs, usage, and buying behavior to better identify market opportunities and customer demand for Combined Curiosity’s product offerings Take ownership with a high level of accountability but be comfortable building ideas collaboratively and taking feedback Provide input and strategy into product roadmaps, strategy, and pricing based on market, customer and competitive findings. Lead team meetings, effective 1:1’s, and effective sprint/task planning Perform as a player-coach who has a strong willingness to get into the weeds while maintaining leadership focus; able to remain calm under pressure and through stressful situations
What You Need: 10+ years of related product-marketing experience and proven track record of performance within a rapidly-scaling organization. Experience within the world of B2C is a plus 5+ years of marketing leadership experience Demonstrated experience with implementing digital marketing initiatives that will scale to support the requirements of a quickly growing company with multiple brands Experienced people manager with prior experience leading and developing a team as well as working across indirect reports and cross functional teams A deep familiarity and understanding of creative workflows, funnels, and marketing strategies that range from emails to social to advertising. Experience with e-learning is a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate the value Combined Curiosity delivers
Compensation/Benefits: $100,000-$120,000 annual salary dependent on experience Share in what you build with Equity Incentive Structure 401K with 4% match Medical/Dental benefits Unlimited PTO
