Terminus is looking for a Technical Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Consultant, you play a critical role by helping our customers set up, configure, launch, and extend the use of the Terminus platform with the shortest time to value.
Our consultants achieve this through understanding customer business goals and objectives, developing strong rapport, and executing against a defined project schedule. You will manage a portfolio of implementation and ad-hoc consulting projects with a diverse set of customers, and as one of the initial touchpoints in a customer's experience after purchasing Terminus, you will be a critical player in driving long-term customer success and demonstrating the value of the Terminus solution.
With your deep technical competency and drive for customer success, you will manage the systems integrations analysis, data preparation, integration architecture, ETL, and general implementation of the Terminus platform into a customer's existing tech stack. To be successful in this role, the Technical Consultant will work across departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Ad Operations, bringing customer objectives to fruition through cross-departmental collaboration and communication. The ideal candidate has experience in Marketing SaaS, strong communication skills and attention to detail, with an outstanding aptitude for applying technology to achieve business results. Become an expert on the Terminus platform Understand and translate customer business goals into successful campaign plans using Terminus technology during the initial implementation Manage a portfolio of customer onboarding projects, ensuring successful and timely completion of each project Identify and drive efficiency in the implementation process by developing best practices and process improvements on an ongoing basis Advocate and assist in the prioritization of new customer features and product enhancements, influencing the Terminus product roadmap and collaborating with the Product team to identify short-term solutions Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to ensure a smooth hand-off before and after onboarding Deliver key implementation services milestones using Terminus project management and professional services automation software. Track and maintain accurate client records
Bachelor's Degree required 3+ years of experience in implementation and/or engineering Proven ability to manage a portfolio of customer projects with keen prioritization and multi-tasking abilities Advanced proficiency in SQL: the ability to write advanced queries MySQL, optimizing database/query performance, experience with data warehousing Exposure to NoSQL-based, SQL-like technologies (e.g. Impala) Comfortable with data manipulation, data structures, and a passion for exploring data to extract valuable insights Exposure to developer tools/workflow (e.g., git/GitHub, bash/terminal) Experience in SaaS integrations via API Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services Experience with project management software Preferred Experience Understanding of HTML, CSS Background in B2B advertising or B2B marketing Have hands-on experience with CRMs (Salesforce, Oracle CRM, and Dynamics) Understanding of MarTech: Experience with marketing technologies such as Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Adroll, Demandbase, Engagio, Marketo
