Vice President, Development Overview: As VP of Development you are responsible for managing a development team made up of Engineers, Designers, Product Manager, and QA Analysts. This team operates using Scrum/Agile development process to release high quality systems in a timely manner that meets Marathon Health’s business needs. You will need to work closely with other functional leaders to drive and develop our tech ecosystem which includes our, Patient Portal, mobile application, and integrations with athenahealth electronic health record and Salesforce. You will also act as the Product Owner for the system.
A Vice President, Development will do the following on a regular basis:
Manage the development team Help with developing Ambassadors in their given career paths. Continually improving the development process used by Marathon Health Product Owner of the ecosystem Work with our Strategy/Innovation and Clinical Product groups to define product roadmaps Be an active member of the development team by developing specifications, writing code, or QA on the system. Drive the architecture of our system Be the champion of our system Work with other members of the Leadership team to make sure Marathon Health is developing the correct functionality to support our business. Help other functional areas as needed
A successful Vice President, Development will have the following:
BS is Computer Science, Mathematics or other technical field preferred. 10+ years of development experience (both technical and functional) 5+ years leading and building strong teams Computer Skills: strong programming skills in various programming languages, SQL development experience, prototyping tools (Balsamiq), Source control tools, continuous build environments
