Our development team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of software solutions that touch a broad swath of business at Milliman. You, as a full-stack web developer, will have a firm understanding of the structure and functionality of the applications and be able to contribute broadly to maintaining and enhancing them. As a member of the development team, you will collaborate with other developers, and provide technical feedback to improve the quality and maintainability of the application. As new project opportunities arise, you will provide input and suggestions on the best solutions for the given problem, and be intimately involved in the design phase of the project. If you enjoy collaborative software development, solving interesting problems, and expanding your personal knowledge base, then you are a good fit for this role.

Milliman MedInsight is one of the healthcare industry’s most highly regarded platforms for data warehousing and healthcare analytics, and has been adopted by payers, purchasers, providers and other healthcare clients.
Milliman PRM Analytics, located in Indianapolis, IN, is a product group that operates in parallel with the MedInsight practice. Our products are used by health care administrators, medical directors, health care providers, and others to manage the clinical and financial risk in a patient population.
The Full-Stack Web Developer is required to work in the Indianapolis, IN office of Milliman.
On a daily basis you will be responsible for:
- Writing code to maintain and enhance existing applications
- Performing technical reviews and providing feedback to other developers
- Working with your team to propose technical solutions to business problems
- Contributing to the growth of your team by sharing knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in a pertinent field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.) or any Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience
- Ability to communicate in a clear, logical, and cordial manner
- A helpful, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude

- Grit to make it through the difficult problems
- Desire to work with code and data
- Basic understanding of web technologies
- Basic software development principles (e.g. "Don't Repeat Yourself")
